Hi, I’m Carla, Certified Master Nutrition Therapy Practitioner

As an advocate for women’s health, I provide science-based nutritional counseling for women and their families applying data driven, functional testing for a more targeted approach. Supporting women to feel their best so they can give their best!

I’m also a wife and mother to two boys, myself! In fact, my experience with pregnancy and entering motherhood helped inspire what I do today. With motherhood came self-growth and inspiration like I’d never felt before. I was truly glowing from the inside out!

Today, it’s my mission to provide support and guidance tailored to the unique nutritional needs of women. Whether you're a mother or not, thinking about becoming a mother, knee-deep in diapers or an empty nester, my specialty is helping women (and their families) thrive.

I have a mother’s intuition and it guided me down a rebel road.

I have always felt pulled toward a holistic approach to life.

How our bodies work together — from each individual cell to every vital organ. How it takes a toll on a family if a single member is unwell or unhappy.

There’s so much more to true wellness than masking symptoms. There’s so much more to nourishing a healthy pregnancy than taking that little prenatal vitamin!

And the wellness of your family? Well, it starts before you even become a parent. It starts with the wellness and nourishment of you, Mom and Dad!  Optimal health and wellbeing starts at the source. When mothers and fathers are educated and able to nourish themselves, it cascades to their families. From as early as embryonic development to the habits learned by growing children.

Why am I uniquely qualified to help your family reap wellness?

  1. Having spent many years in early childhood education, I love the educational side of nutrition, informing parents and children on healthy eating habits.

  2. I’ve earned my Master Nutrition Therapy certification.

  3. Board certified in Holistic Nutrition

  4. I’m an RYT certified yoga instructor — you bet we’ll get mindful movement and play involved!

  5. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. This unique education prepared me for a life practice in mindfulness.

  6. I hold my Master’s in School Counseling.

  7. Certified Postpartum Doula

  8. Background in counseling and helping others face self growth and change.

  9. I’m a mom! I love motherhood.

  10. My family is my foundation. I have a great support system and know how to help others foster synergy in their family space.

I followed my intuition and became a Certified Holistic Nutrition Therapist!

I was working as the Enrichment Program Director at the Denver Waldorf School.

The school’s unique, holistic approach to education inspired a lot of my own framework. Education rooted in more than the typical schooling curriculum — centered around educating the mind and heart. I watched students grow and thrive through experiential learning, harnessing creativity, and developing deep moral values.

Once again, I was inspired!

While in the midst of my career at the Waldorf school, immense tragedy struck my family.

After losing my father and sister to cancer in the same year, I was ready for a career change.

I embarked on a new path in holistic nutrition at Nutrition Therapy Institute.

Although I initially intended to pursue an education in Nutritional Oncology, my intuition led me elsewhere.

At the confluence of my extensive experience and training in Early Childhood Development and as a Postpartum Doula, I shifted my focus to nutrition for the perinatal stages.

Now I hold my Master Nutrition Therapy Certification.

I’m able to support and educate parents through pregnancy and birth. I help moms and dads plant the seeds that help them and their children live healthy, happy, and flourishing lives.
